Gateway Church is a purpose driven gathering of people from all walks of life, races, and backgrounds who desire to learn about, experience, and love God all while loving their neighbors and community!
Jesus commands, “The most important commandment is this: ‘Listen, O Israel! The Lord our God is the one and only Lord. And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.’ The second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ No other commandment is greater than these.” Mark 12:29-31
God loves people just as they are, and we are called as followers of Jesus Christ to do the same thing. At Gateway Church we Love people right where they are in life with no strings attached. Loving some people will mean walking alongside them and with them through life’s challenges. Loving many people will be nothing more than loving them with acts of service. Loving some people will require confronting addictions and walking along side them as they allow Jesus to heal them. Loving people requires that we not be judgmental and filled with pride that we are saved by Jesus Christ!
We see ourselves as a community church who intentionally develops meaningful relationships with community officials, other churches, school leaders, business owners, and civic organizations in an attempt to be a community servant organization that blesses our community. Gateway Church is a gathering of people from all walks of life, races, and backgrounds who desire to learn about, experience, and love God all while loving their neighbors and community!
Gateway Church is about loving God and serving our friends, our neighbors, and our community while bringing Glory to Jesus Christ!
